High in the far northwestern hills of the Willamette Valley, just 10 minutes west of Carlton, our tasting house sits at the top of our vineyard hillside, surrounded by forest and sweeping views of the Coast Range.

The drive is part of the experience — winding roads, open sky, and a gradual shift in pace.

Lonesome Rock is a single, estate vineyard — a true monopole shaped by elevation, coastal winds, and volcanic soils. We farm every row ourselves and produce only what this hillside gives. The wines reflect that clarity — lifted aromatics, layered texture, a bright thread of fruit and acidity, and a mineral backbone that runs long and precise.

We are intentionally small, and our visits are by appointment, relaxed, and owner-led. Our tastings are conversational and immersive. We speak openly about farming, vintage decisions, cellar choices, and the realities of building a small estate winery. Questions are welcome.

We host personally because this place is personal. The tasting house, the vineyard just beyond it, and the life we’ve built around both are inseparable. When you sit at the table, you are tasting wines grown just steps away, poured by the people who walk the rows and make the decisions each vintage.
