Bourgogne Aligoté from the Burgundian Vineyard Where Our Winemaking Began
As an homage to our time spent with the Chaley family, working the vineyards of the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, Lonesome Rock has partnered with Domain Yves Chaley & Fille to bring you this aligoté from the fabled and historic village of Curtil-Vergy.
In 2022, a warm, dry growing season with above-average heat and minimal disease pressure allowed Aligoté in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits to achieve full ripeness with good sugar accumulation and appealing aromatics, producing balanced whites with freshness despite overall warmth.

Like the wind off of a spring meadow high in the hills above Burgundy, our La Grenade Bourgogne Aligoté, a rare white wine vinified and grown with our friends and mentors the Chaley family, is a pure granny-smith with swirls of acacia flower and fresh herbs.
